Differential oil change

Hey guys, i've been trying to change the differential oil in my G but the bolt is bothering me. I couldn't find any tool to open the bolt. Do you guys know the size and name of the tool bit to open the differential bolt? Thanks a lot.

I haven't looked at mine. Is it just a square hole? If so, just use a ratchet with no socket on it.

I was thinking about changing mine with some good A$$ oil called

Shell SPIRAX "S" Gear Oils These Gear Oils are heavy duty, synthetic lubricants that are formulated to meet the severe demands imposed by cold weather and high operating temperatures. They excel in low temperature performance, high temperature stability, water separation, and resistance to viscosity loss by shearing.
They only drawback is that it's only avalible in a 5 gallon bucket. So you will have enough to do 5 or so cars. I paid $125.00 for it.

I just got my baby. Even though she only has a lil bit over 5k on it, i want to change out everything so that she's running on new stuff. I dont know the driving style of the previous driver, i just thought it'd be a good idea that i clean her out.

I found out that the bolt is called 10mm Hex. After draining the oil, the plug was covered with black metal chips. The oil was very dark! And she only has 5000 miles on her! I'm glad i changed it out. =]
