NismoCPV35 Nismo CAI question
To NismoCPV35 how did you get the Nismo CAI to fit. I call Ryan at Nissan motorsports (he deals with Nismo) and he said that the the intake would not fit in the engine bay of the G35 6MT coupe because of the different engine arrangement. So before I go out and buy the Nismo Intake I was wondering if you could explain how you were able to get it to fit. Also should I wait till I have broken in the engine before I install the intake?

The front subframe of the G35 and the 350Z are identical. The only major difference is the reinforcement of the Z's strut tower. Tell Ryan of Nissan Motorsports to check out the photos in the Jax group meet because I've done it. Like I said, it is easier to install it in the G35 and you don't even have to reposition any electrical harness not like the Z.

Could you point me to these photos you are talking about? I'm looking for alternatives to the Stillen and Injen CAI.

Go to page 6 -Jax, Fl meet-MAD Coupe pics posted by redwillow. You'll see a picture of my engine with the Nismo R-Tune CAI installed -its not a detailed photo but you'll get the idea.

I couldn't find any Jacksonville, FL. meet photo albums. All I saw were Bay area, Charlotte and Toronto meets. Where do I find the photos of the meet you're referencing?
