I just got my G, but last year I rode my 2000 Eclipse on some high performance tires through the winter, it was nothing but heart attacks. I used to drive my car on all season tires and it was nothing like last year's experience. I will never drive on performance tires in the winter again.

Either get a car for the winter or get winter tires.

CLEAN IMAGE HUH?! BOY YOU JUMP SHIP MORE THAN A PIRATE DOES!!!

ANYWAYS, I USED DONLOP M3 WINTER SPORT TIRES ON MY OEM 17" RIMS AND I HAD ZERO PROBS. NO TAIL SPINS, NO GETTIN STUCK, NUTHIN. AND I PUSHED THEM THROUGH SOME HEAVY NEW ENGLAND STORMS

I drove a Ford Probe GT with performance tires for 7 winters in Boston. It was okay not great but I never got completely stuck. But I wouldn't try that with a RWD with performance tires.

I went from a Dodge Intrepid FWD with all seasons to an 03 G35 sedan with all seasons and in the snow the diff was night and day. My driveway is up hill I went up that hill over 6" of snow in the Intrepid but in my G35 I could barely make it up in a dusting

M&S tires I can sell you...

Snow and summer tires DO NOT mix. Actually it's dangerous! However if you have winter tires or all-season tires you'll do fine and don't turn off VDC.

I had these on for 1 winter season, last winter, Nov to March. I sold my G and now I have no use for them. Let me know if you are interested. I bought them 11/2005 for $1000.00 at tires dot com. Wheels are 17" Voxx and tires are Falken Ziex 512 all-seasons. I'll sell the set (4) for $600.00 shipped.
