Well, i responded to the email:

"So in other words, I get to pay you guys so you can abuse my car for a month freely. And on top of that, I get to deliver my car to you, at my cost for gas and for the Vortech supercharger, so you guys can have fun for a month with it. Then I would get the car back, half of its life gone and it would’ve only cost me 4000? Wow, that is a great deal."

That's a crappy deal if you ask me. 22%, how much is that? $880 on a $4000 system? It costs that much to ship the car one way. Then you have the hassel of seting up with the shipping, the stress of the car getting damaged, the return shipping cost, no G for that time period. WTF!! IF I do go FI I know which product I probably WON'T purchase.

 

I'm sure they'll find some sucker. There's always one out there.

Well for those of you that have 06 coupes that are 5AT...The Vortech kit works fine...just gotta get it tuned right. So forget them.

 

So I asked him how much the Vortech would cost after the discount....

"satin finished- $4155 + tax
polished- $4458 + tax"

 

^^^Wow. That doesn't seem like much of a discount. Free install is always good but possibly not having my car for 30 days makes it not worth it.

 

Doesn't sound like a great deal to me. You get to pay them that much money for doing them a favor? Also to be without your car for a possible 30 days or more? I don't think so, that is clearly unreasonable.

I wouldn't think a single person would be interested in this deal, regardless of how good they sugarcoat the offer.
