Apparently choosing to remain ignorant of the market for sedan SC kits, Vortech Engineering is nonetheless looking for 2006 AT and MT coupes for testing:

We are currently not looking for sedans to test fit. However, the following vehicles have NOT had programming verified and are needed for testing.

· 2006 G35 Automatic Coupe

· 2006 G35 6 sp Coupe

Do I have to pay them for the supercharger kit? Or is it that they put one in my car and let me run the hell outta it so they know how well it works? I'm from Long Island have a new 2006 Coupe 6MT, having a free Vortech supercharger would always be nice =)

 

Most of the times when companies do this, you get to keep the items. Ive never heard of any companies charging the customers for the comapnies testing...

Well that sounds like a sweet deal and all then, but what happens if the SC system ends up blowing apart my engine components? Then am i screwed and Vortech won't pay to fix the damage to my engine? Or do they and this is just a win/win situation for me? haha

 

Let me clarify: I live in NJ, and I don't work for Vortech. Since they're located in Cali, I imagine that's where they would prefer to have the cars located, and I don't know anything about what you get to keep, what you might have to pay for, or what happens if the SC grenades your engine.
