My apologies for calling you a troll. I looked at your post again and read mine later. I did come across too harsh. Welcome to the forum. I really need to get in touch with the calm gentle pony I know lives inside me. The M3 is an awesome car. Post some pics if you get one. Laters....

Re: g35c or 3.2tl type s

Hey lawman: I've just reread your post concerning your supposed "lateral move" on my suggestion of replacing your Acura with a G-Sedan. Don't bother with the Cadillac 16, or the Aston M., IMHO you'd be taking a giant leap in the right direction by dumping the problematic Acura which doesn't hold a candle to either of the G's.
That vertical move is so obvious. Unless you're looking for a little variety and a much more expensive car. Hell, if you've got the cash, spend it. Can't fault you for that....Enjoy

Re: g35c or 3.2tl type s

bmayy71, After what I've read on this and other forums about the trouble Acura is having with their transmissions, you couldn't pay me to buy one. And I especially would't want a used one that's maybe carrying 'baggage' you don't want. No not even with an extended warranty. Who in their right mind wants to spend any time in the shop with a car that may have built-in issues. IMHO the choise is easy. I would stay away from Acura, and get the G every time. (even if the G is used)
Good luck............

Hey lawman, Peace bro. Let's forget the HUH's and all that other stuff. Just tell me what's got your fancy as a stablemate for your G-Coupe. I shouldn't assume that you'd want another G when the Acura departs- (to that graveyard in the sky)- but was just curious as to your choice.
Not long now 'till the Coupe arrives, bet you're excited?
I've had mine a week now and lovin' it...................

Re: g35c or 3.2tl type s

Wife was driving a 2000 Dodge Caravan and I was driving the TLS. When I decided on the G35C, I told her I'd sell either the van or the TLS - her choice. I just sold the van today. She'll be driving the Acura until she gets her butt out of school and can afford the Volvo she's been craving.

Salesman told me the coupe arrived on the boat in Jax yesterday. He said it takes 48 hours for them to get it once off the boat. If it comes in tomorrow, I'll get it Saturday.

Re: g35c or 3.2tl type s

volvo...... ROFL
Tell her its a ford, i hope she gets turned off
go german dude! she wont be dissatisfied... mercedes has some new stuff comin out, its gonna be another 5 years before any other car company can catch up... just think... twin turbo V12 6.0 that can propel a tank 0-60 in 4.8s wowowowow
if she wants the volvo truck, that one is nice but the ML from mercedes outshines it by its technology and 2004 is getting completely redesigned... so keep on the lookout
mercedes is always a step ahead of the competition (minus the G)

Re: g35c or 3.2tl type s

Hey Stallone,

Cool that you know Ford owns Volvo (which I don't care for myself), but using the same logic, that Mercedes you recommend is a Chrsyler. I'd take Ford over Chrysler, however, I would go for their more upscale mark - Aston Martin. That new DB-7 GT is really nice! Too bad I could only swing this Nissan. Just giving you a little [censored] Rambo...:-)

By the way, I don't get the comparo of a 3.2 TL to Coupe. Anyone torn should really decide 2 doors vs. 4 doors and then pick their favorite coupe or sedan. Mine obviously was the G (coupe or sedan). It is a fabulous car. I have no complaints and a big smile everytime I drive it!!

Re: g35c or 3.2tl type s

JN, chrystler doesn own mercedes, mercedes doesnt own chrystler, they merged, and mercedes still makes their own designs and engineering all from stutegard, germany [spelling??]. The reason they merged was so mercedes can "use" jesus chrystler's assembly line techniques and such...
now ford bought volvo, they did not merge, besides, i'd take a chrystler over a ford any day.....
i live in dearborn, michigan and i know alot of people who work at ford, unfortunately, it all convinces me the majority of ford products are complete [censored] interms of build-quality... i.e. focus, mustang, expedition
-Sylvester :-P
