Am I insane?

I have a 2004 G35 coupe and it is still in showroom condition with only 13k on it. As of late, I am looking at BMW Z4 coupes, SLK 350's and Porsche Caymans. It's a long way up the price ladder to get to these machines. That aside, every time I look at my G, I feel like a spoiled kid. This is a great car!

Am I nuts? Is anyone else going through this?

I should simply stay away from dealer showrooms. But...when that G35 concept hits dealers showrooms, I will be getting that feeling once again!

That's interesting. You're around bimmers all day long, yet you prefer the G - that's cool. Did you buy your G while working for the dealership or before? A Z4 M roadster or coupe doesn't get you thinking? While I'm on the subject, any dirt on these machines? They must have some weak points...

I've had my G for 4 months now and I keep finding myself looking at that damn Lotus Exige. Then I park for a min at my mom's place while I help her move and this family pulls up, kids gawk from out the window, husband gets out and starts taking pics of my car. I think the name "skyline" makes people do weird things, but it's still fun to see. MikeIvory is right, our cars are sick.

All good points. I must have cursed myself with this thread. Accidentally threw it into reverse today. What a jerk I am. The car seems fine, but I feel like an idiot.
