That key fob is the exact same one that Nissan uses for their vehicles.
I must admit that I was a bit disappointed that they didn't give it a visual upgrade considering that this is their luxury line of cars. It would make a much better impression on the new driver if the salesman handed them a gorgeous key fob with lots of shiney metalic looking stuff and a few LED lights maybe.
Acura has a pretty decent key fob and their prices are generally in line with that of Infiniti, so I'm not sure why Infiniti skimped out soo much on this little detail.
It's kinda sad when you go out and buy a nearly $40K G35 Coupe, and then your key fob looks identical to that of a $12K Nissan Sentra.

I got that same exact key ring given to me too by my dealer when I bought my car, but they can slap on all the bells and whistles that they want to the key fob and it won't hide the fact that it's still the cheap looking generic key fob used on the Sentra. I don't use the ring that they gave me on my key fob anyways, because I don't want the extra metal pieces to slap against my steering column or dashboard when I'm driving aggressively.
Giving us that Infiniti logo ring in combination with the Generic Nissan Keyfob is like slapping a set of blinged out chrome 20 inch rims on a 1984 Toyota Corolla Rustbucket to try to distract people from noticing that the car itself is a piece of crap.
Infiniti, What... You thought you could pull a wall over the eyes of the Gambino(In a Joe Pesci voice)?
