Anyone with a lease doing mods

Just curious if anybody with a leased G35 has done any mods. Which ones would void the lease? What are the best ones to start with. Thanks

yes, MREV /plus is a good start. short ram or cold air intake too. you get a great sound when you combine them. and a nice handfull of power not to mention.

None will void a lease. As long you return the car completely back to stock before you hand it back in, you will be fine.

No. Nobody. Ever.

In the four plus years of production for the coupe, and with a membership of over 30 thousand on this site, not a single person has every modded a leased coupe.

Trey- That was a simple question. Although I am new to this particular site, I would hope someone considered a "premier member" would represent their site with a little more maturity.

Like I said, as long as you return the vehicle to completely stock, they have no way of knowing you ever installed any aftermarket things on your car, therefore, they would never know you "voided the warranty". Its not rocket science...

My response was a little over the top. But examine your question with a little logic. Seriously. This forum is a great source of information, and not every one posts bull**** responses like I did. But as a member/visitor, you've got an obligation to do some research yourself. Read a bit before you ask a question that's been asked a million times. That kind of thing.

just do bolt on stuff.

ie, rims, intake, couple of bulbs here and there. dont be adding on bodykits and wacky spoilers though. tints fine too, dealer allows you to return the cars tinted, at least in southern CA.

I am currently leasing my g35c for four years and have done:
wheels
motordyne spacer
testpipe
full catback exhaust

Probably going to keep the car for fun. If I have a buyer in 2008 maybe will sell it then.

go and enjoy bolting on stuff but just remember if you are leasing you probably want to take everything out.

Well maybe some people dont have all day to be on the net and is much easier to ask the questions, then to go through a search that doesnt really work.

If you are doing Mods, make sure keep your stock parts. Also make sure mods are easily removable without too much labor.

If you can afford it, I would just own the car to do mods... so you can enjoy it as long as you want.

I've been modding my "leased" cars for years now...as long as you do "bolt on's" and put the car back to stock....then you should be fine!

I've left a few things on my Altima.... like tint, exhaust tips, headers and they didn't say anything.

If you don't make the effort to educate yourself, how can you expect some one else to do it?
