Just installed... New Carbon Fiber Z Tube (pics!)

I got a great deal on a new CF Z-Tube from a 350z owner who went to HKS suction kit instead. I just installed it.... not much difference in the butt dyno, but I can hear the engine produces a sexier, slightly louder, note... Do I recommend it? Yes!

i circled it. Check if the bolt of the collar is rubbing the silver ac plumbing. if it isnt then you are good to go. I heard it happens to some CAI systems but doesnt hurt to make sure. Engine vibrations cause it to rub and pierce the ac pipe

Some say the C/F makes the exhaust sound a lil louder. Whats your take on this?

Bull****, CF is just its made out of, it will sound as exactly the same as a regular plastic Z-tube, but as to the Z-tube making your exhaust louder its true, by a lil bit, but adds alot of deepness

I dont really see much benefit of the CF tube vs regular Z tube except for the looks. I believe that CF has a lower heat transfer coefficient than plastic tho, but the difference is probably negligible.

BTW, this is the 2nd gen UTR tube w/nipple. Smoother inside than 1st gen.

I just think it's looks hot!
