I used to own SH prelude and MR2 Turbo, I enjoy driving MT back in the days when I used to just go out and have fun without anything to worry about but now, I have greater things I have to face in life with work and a greater responsibility instead of phoking around. I'm sure many of the members on the forum are just people like me, the only gay guy here is you, you need to swap out the shifter and replace that with a D1ck!

You know I agree with you 100%.
I think younger guys are more into MT, they think it's all cool and what nut because they watch too much fast and furious. but the truth of matter is when you getting older, you want the real luxury style...
Guess what, there's a reason why Mercedes don't make MT cars... because once they go luxury, they won't go back... hahaha. it's all about the class...
It's like getting a massage chair and have to do the massage yourself... I say have the massage chair do everything for you.

I actually just got my Black 6MT about 3 weeks ago. Never drove stick in my life and one of my main concerns was about whether it would be too much of a pain for a traffic ridden commute. Those concerns were tossed away about the 2nd day after I got in the driver's seat. The amount of control you have over the car makes a huge difference in the enjoyment factor after you get the hang of the stick. For me, the automatic transmission is very much just a gas-brake gas-brake deal that lets you relax but keeps you on a monotonous playing field. No offense to AT owners. Everyone has their own comfort level.
On a personal note, even driving in heavy traffic is fun for me since it gives me time to practice *SMOOTH* shifts on the lower gears. Perhaps that will change once i hit that 30 year mark
