RACED CTS

just got home and i just raced my friend in his CTS. this was my first ever race and launch. we were in this community and it was from a stand still and i beat him by a car lenght and then we ended. we hit about 70 or 60 . then in teh secnd race i got a better launch so i was a half a car length ahead adn then i coudlnt get her into second it grinded so bad so i threw it in neutral and jammed on the breaks cause the road was ending and it was in a contruction site wit all this sand and [censored] and i didnt wanna slide too much near the turn. so i won one and tied one.. but i woulda whooped his *** if i got it into 2nd witout problems

Re: RACED CTS

I test drove a 2003 CTS a few times a couple weeks ago. Man that was the worst driving car ever. It's sooooo slow. The CTS I tested has only 200hp and if you read reviews everyone complains about their performance. I'm surprised you didn't just plain dust him.

Re: RACED CTS

220hp, actually. That's with the 3.2L V6. Underpowered is why I scratched them off my list when I was ready to buy. The newer ones are coming with a 3.6L V6 that makes 255hp. Should be a much better ride, but they're only available with an automatic right now.. stick shift coming next year.

Re: RACED CTS

Stand by until next year when Cadillac releases the V-series CTS. 405 HP V8 and six speed manual. They are going after the performance euros. We won't be beating that one.

Re: RACED CTS

The other thing I noticed was the handling and brakes were just terrible. The interior feels so cheap. I just hate that car. LOL. I
