your airbags might not work!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i totaled my car on august 2nd, a short school bus hit me head on after she made an extremely wide right turn into my lane. after i hit her doing 40 mph my passenger air bag went off but not the driver side. most of the damage is on the driver side of the car.

so try not to get into any head on accidents!!!!! the funny thing is that infiniti really doens't care even though i own a fx35 and a maxima.

insurance company just wants to give me my check and send the car the the salvage yard. talked to 2 lawyers and nobody wants to go up against infiniti. i am the original owner. the car has never been wrecked or in any accident. i ordered the car january of 2004 picked up the car may 24, 2004. car dies august 2nd 2006 with 32000 miles on it. nissan is supposed to send someone to look at the car and do a full report on why my airbag did not deploy. it is very frustrating that i pay all of this money for a car that is supposed to work and then a system that is supposed to keep my chest from hitting the steering wheel does not work!!! and they act as if everything is all right while i get charged $30 a day for storage at the wrecker.

Damn dude, good thing you are ok. Did that happen in NJ? Cause I live in East Windsor, and for some reason, that road looks familiar. I almost got tagged on a similar looking road by a normal sized bus in the same situation.

I thought the passenger airbag gets automatically disabled if no passengers are sitting in the front seat. Were you alone in the car when this happened or with someone?

if read carefully...the exact opposite happened...the passenger airbag went off but the driver side didnt....so casper sitting in the passenger side was saved while himself sitting at the driver seat took a hit to the steering wheel...

that is the question i had asked infiniti customer service that if no one was in the seat the airbag should have not went off, they kind of avoided the answer. its funny how a company is willing to bow down to you if you are willing to give them money but as soon as you have a problem with something they disappear. i thought is that the sensor in my seat could have been switched by mistake but this should have not been a mistake, (just my thought)

you can easily sue and get a nice lump sum if you are indeed injured. sorry about your car i hope its totalled so you can get a new one at least.
