Another Alternative to Key Fob?

So I was searching eBay because that thread with the switchblade key has stirred up a lot of interest lately. Anyway, I came across an uncut intelligent key and was wondering if we could use this..(minus the actual intelligent features lol) I would assume we could use the keyless entry and trunk pop but does the intelligent key use the same type of chip or whatever?

Anyone know?

since this thread may not go too much further, im gonna hijack it and say why the he|l cant they make the 6MTs with intelligent key?? it's not like it has remote start or anything, so no danger of it driving off by itself

i just searched and i think i found the thread you guys were talking about. in that thread i think they were trying to swap the entire internal unit..

ugh i guess this is a stupid question but its worth asking..

can the intelligent key be programmed to lock/unlock g's without the intel key? or do the two keys use completely different systems?
