what? u get free gas when you get a loaner?? mine makes me fill it back up before returning it. And yes sedan is lighter and feels faster, but the coupe always beats me by a little

the sedan may have a better weight to power ratio and interestingly enough its more aerodynamic.. but i think the engines are geared differently even with the 6mt... which confuses me a little.

what the sedan defintely lacks is the sex factor..

I thought the EXACT same thing when I drove a 5AT loaner, but I honestly think it's just the different gearing having 5 speeds vs. 6.

It seems to hit hard when you lay on the gas in 1st gear but it blows its load quickly.

Damn I thought I was the only one who felt this also, had a loaner for a week and it seemed to pick up better in traffic. I miss my sedan, maybe time to get 2 G's

Having owned both a 2004 6MT sedan and a 2004 6MT coupe, I found the sedan feels faster.

The suspension is so much softer on the sedan you get sort of a whiplash effect when you gun it. The coupe with its stiff suspension just takes off without any fuss. So they're probably about the same if you clocked them, just the sedan has that out of control faster(?) feel to it.

the g35 x loaner is not faster trust me. I actually thought it felt a lil faster myself at first...but i raced my friends 05 accord v6 with that and we were DEAD even, litterally like it was the same car. when i race him with my coupe i seriosly destroy him to the point where its embarising.

The coupes I have driven definitely "feel" slow. It is not fun to drive cars that feel slow, require premium fuel, and have no usable rear seat. I love my ugly, unsexy 5AT sedan.

the x i actually remember m/t or r&t one those actually saying outperformed the regular sedan due to grip on launch...they especially beat the hell out of them in handeling i remember.

as far as "feeling" slower its not that the coupes feel slower...its just that it seems like it requieres less effort to do quick blast to 50 mph and under, but it really isnt one bit.

The x's can out-launch the rwd sedans(or coupes), but the x's are in fact slower overall when compared to the rwd. I'm talking about a straight-line race here. The x suffers from a weight penalty and AWD.

loaners also don't have a 150lb system weighing down it's a$$, or 19's, or (insert mod here) either...

Few months back i drove the sedan, which was a loaner and for some reason it felt like sedan has better handling then the coupe, the steering felt more tighter then the coupe.
