It's normal, and you'll probably notice it more as the transmission gets older. It's common in most automatic transmissions.

It's very normal when ever put the gear on the Drive, rite away all four suspension gets active which causes the car to drop a little.

You must be driving an auto. Its a torque thing. Its normal.

oh yea.... this always happens to me in my nissan pathfinder... and all other automatics ive owned and driven... nothign to worry about.

My friend used to do that all the time with his passat, I don't know if he had the ebrake on or if he was just stepping on the brakes...but he would make the back end go up about 4inches and down by putting it in drive or reverse and giving it some gas. haha
