Hey peeps...
My cousin just a got really cool looking carbon fiber hood for his S2000...and i really want to get one for my G! But i havent heard anything about the G coupe having a CF hood yet??? anyone know anything drop a line!! thanks, peace!

Don't think the demand will be great enough for carbon fiber hoods in this market...if you have the money, you might find someone patient enough to make you a mold out of your hood, but it'll probably be a good amount of money.

I'd look towards Fiber Images though if anyone is going to make one, it would be them.

there is a trunk and hood arleady avilible in carbon fiber some one posted a few mounths ago about it try a search. if i remeber corretle the concencis was that it was a waist becuase it would weigh about he same as the stock hood and would look bad unless u had a black G.

I think Stillen has a carbon fiber hood and also a fiberglass hood...

VIS has a carbon hood for the G. I saw it on ebay.

 

I'd wouldnt even buy an air freshner from VIS, their stuff is terrible quality

 

VIS is terrible quality? really. oh dang. i thought they had good stuff. oh well, i was gonna get hooked up on a CF hood too.

Don't cheapen ur cars with CF hood...plz... They can be found on civics, integras, and whatsoever...just my .03 cents

dude...if done right it can look really nice..and it is not ricey...and there is nothing wrong with integras...i use to own a gs-r!! And my friends civic hits 12.3's!!! so dont be over cocky man or u'll get stallOWNED!

First of all, I never said theres anything wrong with INTEGRAs or CIVICs, I'm just saying that the G is a much higher class and luxurier car. I'm not saying that the integras or civics are slow or something perhaps u should read and understand my post before calling me cocky. I'm just suggesting, no offense to any of the cars.
PS: 12.3 isn't fast...our island civic hits 9.84@150mph. peace.

ok ok, i am just saying...some biast people are just way too cocky...12.3 was just off a b18c1 j-spec, with turbonetics turbo and custom intercooler...besides that is on stock tires...so that is pretty impressive.. And when he is done with the weight reduction he'd prob' be in the mid 11's. (every day driver) and i am not gonna go into my friend's car is faster.

Now if you dont like carbon fiber hoods... why come in this post to put them down. And u didnt say anything was wrong with civic and integras (my fault) but u made it sound like they are crappy, cuz CF hoods can be found on them.

I am not arguing, or picking a fight, you just came off (to me) like u were being cocky about your car. I love the G35, but my .03 cents are that CF hoods are not gonna cheapen the G, but just add to it. You know like mods, to make the car lighter. And people can paint them, and no one would ever know it was CF. so no offense to you.. just saying! I took ur opinion the wrong way so peace!

P.S. Do you think a stock Z06 is slow?? cuz if you do they hit 12.4 stock...so uh go pick a race! (^_~)/)

i think SkylineGT was referring to ricey civics and integras... yes if a car hooked up property with c/f hood, it will look decent.. however how many civic and integra owners with decent mods compare to all the ricey for real... i bet 99% will be all the ricey cars...all i see hooked up civics in my area is civics w/altezza, big azz exhaust, and slammin to the ground...land like you said civics and integras can be fast... they can be faster than porsche or ferrari.. is that mean civics are better than ferrari? i don't think so...oh and no you did not say civics and intetras are better than ferraris(i better say this b4 you tackle with this) i'm just giving you an example cuz so many people think fast=all about cars... even you did.. you see, SkylineGT said c/f hood is for civics and integras and you started flaming with how fast can civic goes.. speed is not all about cars... if you think speed=all about cars, then look at my example again...
