ECU reset will affect MM mode?

since our AT g got driver's adaptive tranny it will make slower if i don't WOT lot of times... i have around 2k miles now and i babied first 1500 and driving like stole it for another 500miles. but the thing is i used MM when i WOT and drive aggresively.. now i can feel so much difference b/w full D mode and MM.. is it reset ECU will help on full D only or will that help MM also? cuz i heard somewhere that if i put on MM, ECU will use full potential and D mode will tend to save gas and use less power from adapting driver's driving habits..

Re: ECU reset will affect MM mode?

ECU reset will help shifting in both MM and D modes. If you've been driving aggressively for a while, then the reset prolly won't benefit you since the ECU has learned your aggressive driving. Only when you baby it for a while will it need to be reset.
Only one way to save gas is to ease up on the g/pedal.
Good luck with your new ride.
