is this the correct tape?

is this the correct part number for the tape that you use when you are driving long diastances and want to cover the front so no debris damages teh front bumper and will it remove easily off the painted surface?

You might want to pm Downshift when he returns from his trip north. He used this tape on his G so he'll know exactly which one to use.

+1 Blue Painters Tape is the important thing to look for. I like 3M and the Duck one. You might want to get some that's 2"-3" wide, to cut your effort down.

ive made 3 trips in the past month up to northern california. First time i Used the green one and it worked great and came off nicely. second trip, I uesd the blue tape on my G and on my girlfriends bmw...both protected well but on our trip, some of the blue tape came loose and started slapping different body panels leaving glue residue all over...taking it off was even a little more difficult as well. third trip, I used green again and it worked great! no rock chips to report of. I got my G re-painted a month ago too! i would stick with the light green one made by 3M,.,.it comes off easier and leaves no residue...but make sure your stick the tape on securly or its gonna fly off.
