Playing MP3's on the G

If you press and hold the disply button for 1.5 seconds you can have it display track, title, artist, album etc, this is outlined in your owners manual. The thing that it doesn't do though is scroll the display.

06's play MP3 CD's. You probably have CD burning software that has a wizard to make things easy. Use the wizard to create an MP3 CD (audio CD). Load up the CD with mp3's and organize the songs into folders if you want - the folders can act as playlists, or different types of music, or different artists, etc.). When you burn/create the CD and put it in the car, you can switch folders and flip through the tracks in each folder. Press and hold the "DISP" button on the stereo to have the display show you the song name, the artist name, the filename, or whatever else you can choose from.
I label my folders when I create my MP3 CD's but I haven't figured out if the stereo can display the folder names...just shows up as Folder 1, 2, 3, etc.

im not sure about 03/04, but 05 and 06 play MP3. if u are not sure, u can look at ur cd player/sterio on the car.. on the face of the display it says mp3 on it (at least it says it on mine)..so mine does play and i have an 05 with blose.
