ok my wife and own a 99 benz clk 320 it is an auto and all stock. the car has 130,000 on it. well i drove my 05 AT to her job and on the way home she got in the benz. i started messing with her speeding up next to her and such we came to a red light and i told her to floor it at the green needless to say off the line she blew me away she had me buy a car length i was like WTF. to see if it was a fluke we came to another red and the same thing. i know from driving the benz has some real torqe and it is fast but dam i finally caught up but if it was a 1/4 mile track i was done

Something is wrong with your car. You also need to shift manually dude.

 

yeah maybe i need to use the manual mode but the benz does not have as much hasatation of the line like the 05 AT

 

no its not that either...try brake torqueing. im sure the auto can shift more percisely than you can without practice.

 

whats your elevation?

 

CLK is a POS especially the 320 with the ****tyest throttle response in the world O.o

or maybe cause i work for benz.. but a NEW CLK 350 is still slower then a g35

level elevation but i must admit from driving the clk the thing is superquick of the line almost no hasatation vs the 05 AT which has like a 2 sec hasatation
