headroom / seat break in

I'm no taller than 6'1" and with at least 33.5" inseam I think my torso is similar to someone 5'11" or 6'0" But I do feel like I could be much more comfortable if there was more clearance in the G35. I think I will get used to it over time, but I was wondering if the seat also needs to break in.

The seat is very "flat" compared to my bmw bucket seat that really lett the butt sink down an extra inch or more and gave you securely seated feeling. This seat hints that I might slide forward, and I could tilt it back but that really just raises the front and lessens the headroom. Has anyone owned the G35 long enough to say whether the seat eventually breaks in?

Also have seen lots of remarks about replacement seats, but is that really feasible with the airbags and active head restraints?

Hmmm. I'm 6' and have no headroom problem. I sit fairly upright too, but, I do have the seat position as low as it will go.

At 6'5", headroom in my coupe (with just ~2000 miles on it) is marginal. But after long drives, there 'seems' to be more headroom (about one inch extra) ... or is this simply wishful thinking? If the seat does sag that much, any suggestions for how to accelerate the process?
