[quote = Dealer]Your brake and tires are wear items...

btw: if ya done better cleaning maintenance on your rims...like everytime you wash your G, you wouldn't have this issue or condition.
Leaving brake dust on for too long will damage the rim finish permanently and also will leave pitting even after cleaning.
G/K with the Dealer.

spend an afternoon, take each wheel off, use some of the aforementioned products and serious elbow grease, get them nice and clean again, then use a sealant on them..... after that, give them a reach-around (haha) for a quick clean every time u wash the car

I recommend changing to Akebono Racing Pads. They are better and produce less brake dusts. Unfortunately, these pads are too thick though for Brembo applications...couldn't make it work for mine so I just went with Nissmo Racing Pads.
Thanks for all your replies but you dont understand, I keep my car very clean. I wash the inside of the wheels all the time. When my car was 1 week old the damage was already done, the black marks wont come off, its etched into the finish. I have had other cars with alloy wheels, guess what.. it didnt happen to them. Its a defect. Look at this picture taken 1 week after I bought the car. They are alot darker now.
All im asking is, do yours look like this?

TheKnite, I had the same assumption about the spray, except I think its from the tire dressing they sprayed allover the tires when I purchased the car. I think on the way home - with a brand new car - the brake dust settled on the spray and etched its way into the wheel. Like i said earlier that picture was taken a few days after I got the car and went to wash it for the first time.
