Strange start after MD spacer install?

After I installed my 1/2in MD spacer, I started the car and the RPMs went up like normal, but then droped really low like it wanted to stall out but didnt .

So I went under the hood and everything sounded normal, but I checked everything again and there are no problems (i think). Anyone else have anything like this?

That is normal it will also happen if you take out the spacer. Reset the ECU to erase the memory and let it learn the new settings.

I experienced the same rpm drops after I put in my K&N drop in filter. The RPMs would dip here and there when I would let go of the gas even during driving. Well I never reset the ECU, but a lot of people said the computer will learn by itself. I finally got fed up after many months, I put back the stock air filter and went to the dealer. Once the dealer noticed the issue, they performed "idle relearn" and the car is now back as it should be.
