Craftsman. Get the "digital" one. With the actual numbers on the grip. I have had it for years. Works great.

Also, remember to return it to zero pounds setting when you are done. It will mess up the calibration if you leave it torqued.

I use snap on as well. Mostly because the company my father manages partners with them so we get their tools for free.

Also, craftsman and Mac are decent tools as well. Just dont buy anything thats really cheap and you will be in good shape. I think a torque wrench should cost around 100 dollars for a good one.

CORRECT, only on hand tools (screwdrivers, combo wrenches, ratcheys, etc...). They dont consider a torque wrench a hand tool.

I have a snap-on torque wrench for work, but i have a craftsman one for home. either one works good.

if your gonna only use it for wheels at home, then yea get the craftsman one.
remember to get a 1/2" Drive. Don't get 3/8" cause it takes more effort from you to torque it and if used a lot, its under stress and overtime it wont last as long.

If you only need it for occassional use, like lug nuts, tirerack.com has a nice one. In my opinion good enough for that kind of use. It is 1/2" driver with a 3/8" reducer included. Nice quality. I don't think you need to recalibrate that often unless you drop it, etc. for light use.
Go for a good Craftsman, etc. if you plan to do a lot of engine work with it.
