Hey guys/gals... I've had my G for almost 4 months and I love the car. My only gripe is that on sh!tty roads the G doesn't handle the bumps very well. It kinda has a hollow sound to it, like the noise echo's in the car. I won't lie, on some days it's annoying. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

For the good handling it offers, I have been surprised more than once how well it soaks up some bumps without any negative feedback through the steering.

Sorry guys... I'm not really talking about how the car handles... I'm talking about the noise inside the car when you hit a sharp bump in the road. Some people complain about rattles, I'm complaining about the sound in the cabin. Tell me I'm not the only one that notices it?!?

I tend to stay positive like this guy. But if it bothers someone more that they wanna put up with, they should consider getting 17s before getting sick of the car. As far as I remember, the negative feedback from bumps on my previous cars annoyed me much more than the little noise our tires make. The car is solid and handles them real well so I appreciate that.

I know exactly what you're talking about. It's the tires that make all the noise. I find it irritating, too. I'm going to use a different brand and go slightly larger next when I replace them.

I highly recommend the ARC Front STB, and the Stillen Rear STB - - you will be AMAZED at the superb handling these offer!!!

There is something you can do about the road noise (for the front wheels at least). I understand that some people buy some fiberglass insulation, the kind you can get at Home Depot for about $20 bucks for a roll, and cut pieces and put them in trash bags to fit in the wheel well behind the front wheels. From that post I gather the person took off the piece of liner there and saw that there was a huge gap that's just screaming sound-resonation so he filled it with the insulation and it dropped the road-noise level.

I've been aching to try this but didn't want to buy an entire roll of this stuff only to use a few small pieces. Maybe someday...
