Wow guys,

I really appreciate all the responses and the points you brought up are valid !

I only drive around 400 miles a month with my G35 (fill up 1ce every 3-4 weeks). It would really be a hobby car and not a daily driver. However one of you guys pointed out its murder on pot holes... well in jersey we have more then all the states combined . I bought the mrs. a 06 sonata so, that would be driven when the proposed lotus was needed for daily driving (sometimes).

how bad can service be on a lotus & toyota engine ? insurance cant be that bad but i'll check just for reference. LOL gas mileage is prob much better then our G's.

any ideas on crime of these cars... i mean if i get one living outside of Atlantic City... can I expect it stolen before i get out of the driver's seat ?

leaning towards no
thanks again guys

ppp

I would trade in a heartbeat.
Then I would turbo it.
then I would buy another 04-6mt g35 to drive to work.

trade it...unless youre old and the suspension will make your teeth fall out...from what i heard and read the handling is the best for a production car...you cant go wrong with a toyota engine and transmission...jmo... im the type of guy that would drive a c6 z06 as my daily driver, so yes get the elise...

Lotus would be awesome but if you're gonna spend some time in that seat then I'd opt for the G FTW....
