ive never seen a waterproof car cover (for the g at least). if you want a car cover to protect the g from the rain im pretty sure you can forget about that. though i think a car cover will protect against moisture from sprinklers and such. the stillen is a lot cheaper than the oem but i opted for the oem one..
best of luck to yah

There is a waterproof car cover for the G called Tybond at Pepboys.
$50 plus a $5 mail-in rebate.
I've tested it and is 100% waterproof. Most car covers are water repellant which means water absords through the car cover material and onto your car.
Hopefully there is a Pepboys in your area though.

It is a semi-custom fit car cover. I have it on my G and it fits pretty well on it.

What happens if your car has dirt or sand from driving and you go to put the cover on? Is it loose enough that road debris on your car wont scratch your paint while putting on the cover or taking it off? Also, watherproof huh? Now isnt it good to let moisture seep out so that your car can ventiliate otherwise your paint and car gets damaged.. atleast that was I am used to being told...

If a cover is completely waterproof, moisture will build up under the cover from condensation and evaporation and will stay on your car for a long time and cause tons more harm than a cover that is permeable and allows evaporated water to pass through.
I highly recommend the California Car Cover. I bought one for my car and stored it in Massachusetts winter outside all year last year. The cover fits like a glove... I mean literally like a glove, it's almost unbelievable how the thing contours to the shape of the car. What I try to do is go out there and brush the snow off the cover whenever it snows so that the snow doesn't turn into a big sheet of ice on top of the cover after it partially melts and then refreezes at night.
I bought the Stormweave car cover, and would highly recommend it to you for outdoor use. Expect to spend about 200 bucks for the cover though, but it's money well spent if you're serious about protecting your car. Buy the cable lock for it too(like an extra 10 bucks) so that the cover won't shift at all under really heavy wind.
