Wrecked G

Well, I wrecked the G this morning. I feel as stupid as stupid gets because I caused the accident. Having a car with some power is addictive and lately I've been pulling off a lot of risky moves knowing I had the power to outrun or get away from possible situations. This morning it caught up to me. I made a risky turn in front of oncoming traffic and misjudged the situation. Boom! My beautiful G crashed.
My wife crashes her GS last month and I do in the G35 this month. Someone is trying to tell me something....and I'm listening. I enjoy driving and will continue drive briskly sometimes. From now on I'll be more patient and more cautious.
Infiniti of Coconut Creek no longer has a body shop. It was there a month ago but that's they told me over the phone today. I'm taking to JM Lexus. They're slow but they do a heckuva job.

Sorry to hear that, Reggiek,......some lessons are hard learned.......but at least you're not hurt.....that's the main thing....

Best of luck with repairs (to both rides)

C.

Yeah, I'm fine...physically. Emotionally, I'm bummed because I caused it. If I or the other party was hurt, that would be the only thing on my mind. It is afterall, just a car, a material thing. Since there were no injuries, I can act like a baby.

Ummmmm maybe use some restraint next time?

you could have done some real damage to someone else's FAMILY....cars are replaceable......

People are not....

(coming from someone who lost someone in an accident. stupid driver. bad results.)

Naw, no pics. As I said previously, my wife crashed her GS last month. I took pics and posted them on clublexus. It felt stupid. I'm not knocking others who do it....it just feels awkward to me. So, no pics of the wrecked G. It's already in the shop any. Dropped it off this morning. Gave it a hug and said a prayer before I left. Maybe if I had done that yesterday morning, it wouldn't have happened. This is the first car I didn't pray over after buying it. I'll give it the full prayer when I get it back. I guess I didn't really feel it was mine since it is a lease. Now I feel different. This my car and I'm probably going to keep it, forget the new style G. We'll see.

There's a geat shop here in Boca, Sunshine Auto Body. You may want to get an estimate from them if the car is driveable.

At least you realized you have been driving dangerously and hopefully you won't be endangering others in future.

Glad you and everyone else is ok.

And now, the most important testimonial for this given situation...

...Was your VDC on or off?

It was on...what does that signify?

Anyway, I got the G back today. Talk about being happy. I would be more excited and out joy riding but I haven't been feeling well this week. First time having a serious medical problem, I don't count the flu. It's a drag but getting the car back is one less thing on my mind. Hopefully, I will feel like joy riding tomorrow.
BTW, the car looks great. The work was done by JMLexus and it looks great.
