The threads on the shifter are the same, so the **** should fit the same.

I've been happy with the looks of my 6MT ****, but it's just a bit too big. Likewise, it's shape on the rear (where the ball meets the stalk) is contured wrong and too hard, creating a hard edge. Apparently, I sometimes use the finger next to my pinky on that spot for some added push/control going into 3rd's gate. It's made my first knuckle on that finger sore, which is why I noticed it. I think the big shiftknob is why I've resorted to the added finger placement. It could be a longtime habit that I'm only now aware of because of the hard edge on the 6MT-****'s rear.

It sounds like you have AT and not MT shift. Please be specific, so people can better assist you.
