New Customizer

Hi,
I'm new to costomizing but i'm almost positive of the main components i want. The problem is I'm sure there are things i'm leaving out that i'll need down the road or will not allow my car to run well.

What i got:
--05 G35 Coupe, Silver 5AT
--Clear side markers
--Blue LED for Side markers, headlight corners, Door lamps, Map light.

What i Want:
--JDM Nissan emblems for rear, front, Stearing wheel
--JDM Skyline 350GT emblems for rear, door flaps
--Engine upgrades
--Wheels with black spokes and Chrome lip
--Black headlights with clear blinker lenses

Questions:
--Is there a place i can send my car to have it all done at once. (like mustangs with Rouch racing)?
--Can you sell me these items and help discribe to me how to put them on or should i have a professional do it
--if i plan on S/C or TT in the future should i get a Cold air intake and exaust now anyway???
--What exaust sounds good??

emblems are DIY
certain engine mods are DIY
wheels are expensive for the go so be ready to spend a pretty penny
black headlights - you can paint them black or get bats overlays

do it yourself.

Try to not spend anything on engine mods until you know what you want out of it. If you want to go turbo, don't go out and by a cai etc.

yeh plan/map out your plans for the g. this is hard b/c you can always change your mind in the future.

but if you know for sure you will go f/i in the near future then dont waste money on bolt on mods. just save up for f/i

FI (forced induction, in case you didnt know) is a big "investment". Just because a supercharger or TT kit costs 4-6K, doesnt mean thats all you'll spend. Youll have to take into consideration the installation costs, guages, dyno tuning (very important), and other misc things. When you go FI, be sure to have a deep pocket, it isnt a little thing you can just bolt on and think youre ready to go. After a while, your stock clutch wont hold up, or ur tires will start balding after raping so many cars on the street. If you dont want to go in that deeply, I suggest you play it low and do minimal mods. If you havent seen, NA (Naturally Aspirated) mods dont do much for our motors, so if you want power and got the dough to put out, save up and dont do worthless bullsh*t NA mods. My 2 pennies...

Just curious.. what do you feel the end cost is.. with the gauges, labor, dyno tunning.... tires, brakes, clutch excluded...

If you get a good deal, you can usually get a supercharger installed for about 5.5K . Count in gauges and installation, another 600, dyno tuning should be around $500 a session, provided you provide your aftermarket ECU, somewhere in that ballpark. Be prepared to spend around 7.5-8K after its all said and done. Count in the price of gas since your going to be mashing that gas pedal down...I hope you have a nice chunka change in your savings account.
