Thumbs down Lady whacks my door, then moves my mirror...

I'm walking back to my car after lunch, and this lady has her door open all the way touching my car. I'm thinking, great...

I get up close, and not only is there some sort of mark (turned out to be dirt from her door), but she pushed my side view mirror in so she could have more room to open her door!!

I knocked on her window, sorta yelled at her, told her think before acting next time, made sure there was no damage (wiped off thankfully), and jotted down her license plate just in case.

Some people are amazing...

I've had my 06 for almost 4 months now, and I get paranoid everytime I park. The girlfriend gets pissed when I park 20 feet from other cars, but she knows what I really care about now.

Why is it that you can park in an empty parking lot and 9 times out of 10 some yahoo will park right next to your car? Do these people feel that they need to line up with another car to park correctly? Is it a safety in numbers thing? Or are these drivers obsessive-compulsive, desiring proper placement/order?

I've never understood this.

I kind of enjoy the extra exercise I get from parking in BFE.

it's not only in parking lots, I hate it when I am driving down the highway and those dump trucks full of rocks and dirt dont cover their loads, all I can do is prey nothing big flys off...

That or when moron smokers decide its ok to chuck their cig out the window (still lit) and it lands in my windshield...

That or when some stupid douche tosses his coke can and I swerve to miss it before it smacks my car.

I hate stupid people.

Yup. I'll park way out of the way. Get back and there's only two more cars. But they are on each side of me! Idiots!

+1000 Had this happen to me 1 week after I got my G. Had to pass on the emergency lane because rocks were coming out.

It's more fun getting hit by discarded cigs while riding.

You know guys, G35 drivers must be the most actively-fit drivers on the road, what with all the walking they do because we park so far away... I want to see some stats...

I park where there are no cars next to me, if that is further away from where I'm going...so be it.
