Would you?

Give me ome thoughts here....

I have a base model '03 coupe cloth no moonroof...34k miles, Owe about $19k (I turned it into a buy two years into my lease)

Anyway, we are going to start a family, and need another 4 Door Car. I checked out the 07 Maxima SE's. I don't think I can get a deal on the 07 G35 like this. The dealer agreed to 22k for my car and I can get $325/mo for a loaded Maxima SE except Nav. 36 mo w/ 12k/yr. Sign and Drive No $ out of pocket. I would be saving about 100 bucks / month.

Please post thoughts.

sounds like you need a sedan
the maxima is a good choice .... i really like them.

if you like the 06 g35 sedans, you can score really really good deals right now, id be in a very close price range as a fully loaded maxima

might want to give that a shot

Ya but the new body style is out. With an 06 it is already close to being considered a year old, and the new body style diminishes the value. At least the MAximas just changed the body and interior for the 07's and will be pretty much the same a few more years. Trust me though I thought about it.

maximas seem a little over priced to me, but if you like them go for it then.

so the dealer will give u a check for the G and then you would pay off wat u owe and keep the other 3000$ is that how it works? sorry im kinda lost with all these financial things. i too have a G and at times think of doing something to this effect except i owe most of what i got the car for...

What you are doing sounds good, ill apretiate if u can answer some of my questions or if anyone else knows and wants to take a shot..thanks

I always loved the Maximas and was going to sell my Altima and just buy a Maxima... Price seemed high so I just kept the Altima and bought the G as well.. hahaa... I really do like the Maximas though... I would just recommend one thing..especially since it sounds like you plan on keeping it.. why lease? just buy the thing ... it will last forever.. I have been driving Nissans for 15 years... my 240 hatch had 125k when I dumped it.. it needed zero work througout the years.. I would just so buy and not lease if I were you..

i figure i'm always gonna have a car payment, plus I'd be able to save some money in monthly pmts, If I did buy I'd be looking at 500 mo payments,,,not gonna happen. If there is any type equity at the end of the lease I can always buy it out,,,I usually am ready far a new car by then anyway. Warrenty on Nissans is only 36000 / 3 years also and all it takes is one big problem.

I like always being covered by warranty. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
