invisicord is $14-$20 alone
http://invisicord.com/order.html

Mikes mount $39.95
http://www.countryjoycrafts.com/Conn...arDetector.htm

So lemme get this straight

$39.95 + ($14 to $20) = $30?

where did you learn math buddy? lol jk

more like $53.95 to $59.95

if you guys wanna spend $53.95 to $59.95 for a mirror mount that i cop can give u a ticket for even though the radar isn't illegal?? (state accordingly) They can ticket you for anything attached or hanging from the rear view mirror.

whatever floats your boats

I'll stick with my free windshield mount

i'm sorry, i spent $30 on mikes shipped and $12 on invisicord shipped. $42. either way, not a lot of money. by the way, what are you arguing about. so some people said they like this mount. they didn't ask you to pay for it, use it or even llike it. you can express your opinion by not buying one, but don't insinuate that people are wasting their money. just about every one that has one likes it and has never had any problems that you assume they have. also, the guys that were clever enough to come up with the mount and the cord are on this site and vend through good word of mouth....why rag on their product?

It is a common myth that the V1 is bigger than the others because certain biased websites that are run by Escort and Bel like to spread these lies.

As hard as it might be to believe, the Valentine One, 16.20 cu. in., is smaller than the Escort X50, 18.95 cu. in., and the Bel RX65, 16.33 cu. in., and also the Bel STi, 16.33 cu. in. The Valentine One is wider because it has 2 antennas and not 1 like every other radar detector, but it is shorter and not as tall which gives you more mounting options. However, a common problem with Bels and Escorts is that they like to bounce on their flimsy mounts because they are too long, cheap, and made of plastic.

As far as weight goes,

Valentine One -> 181.5g (6.40 ounces)
Escort 8500 X50 -> 253.7g (8.95 ounces)
Beltronics RX65 Pro -> 236.6g (8.35 ounces)
Beltronics STi Driver -> 291.6g ( 10.29 ounces)

As you can see, the 8500 X50 is the largest in size and the Bel STi Driver is the heaviest. The Valentine One is the smallest and lightest radar detector of the Top 4 radar detectors made today.
Thank you!

Here is my simple solution. You can't see the detector from inside the car (unless you put your head on the dash and look up). It is obviously below the tint band. I can't see the display, but I can hear the alert. I also wired a remote LED and put it in the console beside the compass reset button. Very stealth. Price - remote install kit $29.95 + LED $3.00.

Hard to say how chicken-poop CA cops will be about windshield mounts if they see the suction cups. Maybe they just look for things actually hanging off the window to ticket you. Sliderg35's install looks fairly stealth behind the mirror, though. Got to think about that one.
