2006 G35 Coupe Key Fob ???'s...
Alright, I know this has been discussed a few times....but no definitive answer has been made. Can the 2006 G35 Coupe 5AT Key Fob (seen below) work if reprogrammed for the 2006 G35 Coupe 6MT? I don't know why they chose not to use it on the 6MT, but if I had to make an educated guess it would be due to the fact that a 6MT can be left in gear...and if the remote start feature is used the car would leap forward . Just a thought...
I love this remote/key combo and would love to pick up a set to use with my 6MT. I am willing to accept the fact that the remote start, etc. won't work, I just want to use it for lock/unlock/panic like my current remote. If this can be done, please let me know where can I purchase it for a decent price...and what is the part #?
Any and ALL help/input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You can use your IC board, shave it, and install it in the new style fob. You will have to wire new SPST MOM switches to your IC to relocate the buttons. It can be done, but with the work involved and the price of the new style fob (including $$$ key blank that you HAVE to get), it is sooo not worth it to me. I would be well on my way to 06 projectors after everything was said and done!
Someone on here is selling flip-keys like Audi I think…

Thanks for the information/link, that clarifies a lot. Hmmmm...interesting, but if I am going to hack a key fob...I think I would choose a different one. I like the new Infiniti key fob, but can't fully understand why it can't be modified to work without the immobilizer system. My second choice would be an Audi/VW key...I guess I will hold out for now.
