I have the OEM 17s and I am finally retiring them to winter only use with Blizzaks. Here is my situation; I still have a few thousand miles to go on these until I mount the blizzaks, and one of my rears is really worn down. I dont want to bother buying new 17s because I never want to use them again! I do have some extra tires that should fit and get me by for a few weeks, please advise me and dont flame. My DD just blew a pricey tranny, so I have to fix that or dump the car and use the G for now.

OEM size is 235/50/17 in the back, I have seen some winter setups with 225/50 or 225/55 on all fours. Kind of like on the sedans. This will be for commuting only, no stunts. I have extra 225s, I doubt the slightly narrow tire will upset the cars balance too much.
