How lucky! 2k for that car is a hell of a deal! I would so hook that thing up..a nice bodykit maybe even widebody, paint, custom audio, and some engine upgrades! That would run up a good 10-15k.

But all to your preference...id say a good 3-4k to bring it back to normal! Good luck and keep us posted on the rebuild!

These cars don't have a frame. They are unibody with suspension subframes. The car really isn't hit that badly. It just looks bad. I'd take it for $2k and repair it. Get parts from the salvage yard, or buy another wreck from a salvage sale for parts. I've seen much worse brought back to life.

At least now you can make it how you want it to be with whatever mods you want while it's all taken apart.

http://www.car-part.com/ is a very good place to find parts
Friend of mine just put one together (one was rear ended....baaadly and another one flooded. so he made one out of two) he got most parts left over from the flooded one, It's an 03 but i'm sure doors and fenders will match, I'll ask him.

Good luck. Get ur self a service manual.......it will help in putting stuff into the right places.

it really doesnt make sense at all that you got it for 2k. im having serious trouble with that part. other than that, youll prolyl spend 10k for a total of 12k... dont forget youll prolly need a complete paintjob... wish i could see the pics better...

Good luck with the rebuild. That's exactly how I got my car. My dad and his friend who owns a garage/used car sales picked up a black one just like that in Nevada for me. Ran him about 10 grand and was about 5 grand in damages. At 16 it was the only way I could get one plus my dad wanted something reliable for future years (ie. college) and didn't want to have to later pay for reapirs and stuff if I got a beater. Besides a tiny crack in the windshield and some messed up tints (which I still have to replace and or change the windows altogether) it looked like brand new. Plus it had 52k miles on it and I haven't had a single problem in the past 3+ months I've had it.

That's an awesome steal for $2K, even if it has a salvage title.

Awesome find, and good luck with your new project.

Here's a good breakdown of the parts for the Dashboard. Looks like they're all sold individually, but if you buy them new... this site is probably the cheapest place to get them(even though it's still going to cost you a fortune to rebuild that dash piece by piece).

If I were you, I'd try to get a whole dash out of another wrecked G if you can find one, even if you have to ship the parts from a decent distance.

i say you buy a new g35 and take the motor in the wrecked g35 and put it in the the back of the new one. so you will have a twin g70. but anyways that whole thing for 2k is amazing to me. good luck with it man. keep us posted!

2k is insane...I'd either part out the rest of the parts and make some money or I'd totally work the car as project car...Thats an awesome price..Repair wise I'm guessing also 6-8k for basic parts needed. As long as the engine and frame are good, your alright...Good luck, keep us updated.
