Make my coupe a Sport..

I just picked up this car. It is a 05 with 9k. As far as sports cars go I know my Supras. But with the G35 I really dont know much. So Id appreciate any help you guys can give.

I know I need the following parts:

Door with panel.
Dashboard.
Passenger Seat airbag
Front Bumper cover.

Does anyone know where I can get these parts semi cheap? Going ot my dealer will kill me.

Also what do I need to buy to make this a Sports Coupe?

Thanks guys..

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Umm it needs a door, fender, windshield, and front bumper, dash and airbag. The headlight that is not shown in the pic is there it was not damaged. The frame is straight, why wouldnt I rebuild it? Are you insane? It starts and drives. ??? What are you talking about?

Just curious as to why you dont buy a new one instead of rebuilding it? If you payed 2k for it thats pretty reasonable. As for the parts being cheap, good luck. Its gonna cost you a pretty penny. My car just finished being rebuilt with a 65% new front end and it ran about 20K not including the motor. And thats with parts from wholesale. A used G runs would run a little more than that. But if you like rebuilding cars then good luck.

If you dont mind me asking what happened to the G for it to be in that condition in the first place.

Don't take it personal man..its just the dash that really looks frightening...but most people haven't seen this car w/o a dash..so they prolly dont know. I suggest you look into junkyards around your area, ebaymotors, or maybe even the classified section..to find a cheaper deal on parts.

good luck.

A guy ran a stop sign and hit the passenger side going about 10 miles an hour. It cracked the windshield, bumper and dashboard. The door was pushed in and the panel was cracked. The airbag popped on the seat. That was all the damage.

Im guessing it is about 3k in parts.

What's your idea of a "sports coupe"?

Are you out to make the car's suspension like the 05/06 coupes with the legit sport's suspension (6MT or optional on the A/t cars)?

Or are you wanting to know how to make the car more sporting in general? To which I would reply that their are a lot of parts you can put on the car to do that, but you and only you can decide which one's are in good taste and actually are of benefit. I would start with our forum sponcers and see what they have.
