There is a lot of oil out there, whether it is full synthetic, synthetic blend, or non-synthetic. For those of us who want to or have switched over to full synthetic oil, it's probably more important to go with the weight that is recommended by the manufacturer or is appropriate for your climate and overall driving conditions.
Non-synthetic oil is still used by manufacturers because it cuts down on maintenance costs. Synthetic blend, which is what our cars use, provide some of the benefits of synthetic oil while still keeping the cost down. The advantages of full synthetic, and even synthetic blend, are that it contains substantially more cleaning agents (can absorb more dirt and stay cleaner), it lasts longer, and it coats all the engine parts. Full synthetic vs synthetic blend means better cleaning and longer lifespan.
Personally, I use Mobil because it seems to be the most common synthetic oil and it has a great reputation. It is what Mercedes, BMW and other premium car manufacturers use for their vehicles. If a service station I wanted to use on my next oil change only had Quaker-State or Royal Purple or any other company, I wouldn't care less, as long as it is synthetic.
Here is a link to Mobil's website regarding their range of synthetic oils, some are designed to last longer than others, different synthetics for different price points:

Amsoil 0W30 Signature and Amsoil EA filter (larger maxima size), change it once a year or every 10,000km (6250 miles). Whoever said 'bigger filter, takes longer to flow', that doesn't make sense to me. Except for the few seconds after you change, it's always full -- and if you fill it even partway when you change it, that short time won't hurt anything. I use the bigger one for more filtration area.
Also, hundreds of 'which oil' posts on the site, search and you can find every opinion under the sun, but only a used oil analysis will tell you what's working and what's not on your car in your driving conditions.
