It's a TSB fix... take it to the dealer, they regrease it, and the noise will come back soon.

It's very common issue...

wow, how many threads are going to be started about this axel clicking crap......I have seen atleast 10 within 2 weeks.

People need to find the search function and use it.

Anyways, yes it is called axel clicking. When you put the car in reverse it will click when its in drive and you start to accelerate it will clikc twice. There is a Technical Service bullitin (TSB) on it just take that to the dealer and they fix it under warrenty. If you are out of warrenty then it cost a couple hundred.

I just took mine to the dealership yesterday and they said they have to rebuild my axles. Well, they rebuilt them and no sign of axle clicking yet.

The service manager at my dealer knew what I was talking about before I finished the sentence. I said, "It sounds like I have a click coming from the rear..." and he nodded and started typing. lol. He said they see it every day, very easy fix and it was free.

Almost 123 posts and you didn't even do a search first before asking? I'm usually not the one to say "use the search" but man, seeing that there are like 3 posts in the forum that are recent with the same isssues, I will say it:

USE SEARCH.

Anyways, take it to the dealer...it's a known problem and an easy fix. I had my done in a few hours at the dealer.
