Driving the G is pretty expensive. I estimate my cost per mile (in CA) is roughtly:

15c/gas + 2c/tire + 10c/insurrance + 4c/mantenaince + 30c/depreciate
3$/gal $1k/50kmile clean record oil+ services loose 3k/10k mile

=== 68cent/mile

I've thought about driving a beater (have an old camry), but I concluded that it's not worth it.

Driving the G certainly feels better than a beater.

More importantly, a G is much safer than a beater. Old used car is dangerous in bad wether, and in accident.

I would not want to get hurt (e.g in an accident) in a beater while pampering my G. I'm just rightfully enjoy driving my G........
