What rpm do you shift at...

Ive been shifting at about 4,000rpm since i got my car but i think its a little to high... im just curious at what everyone else shifts at. I know when i learned how to drive stick shift on a 96 maxima i was suppose to shift at 2500rpm...Just thought i may ask you guys. Thanks!

too high?

Wow your definately not enjoying your G then. Usually I shift around 4.0-4.5 RPM... but when im in the mood, I red line it.

lol i shouldve mentioned this.... the question is meant for when do you shift it at just daily driving not having fun lol

I shift before 3k... i think its good for daily driving. Not too loud either. I havn't gone redline even once. makes me wonder what the hell ive been doing, especially with lower gas prices here in the east coast. damn

3500-4500 works for me

Thats why. I shift 4-4.5 RPM's in my daily driving...

3k since if i shift any lower my flywheel rattles when i accelerate in the new higher gear. : (
