Argument with girlfriend about 6MT shift boot.
I say it's leather, she says it's not.

lol........smell it, does it smell like leather? usually when my gf says stupid things like that i just grab the inner part of her thigh really hard and she usually just becomes quiet LOL

The only leather is the seat surface (not sides) if you have leather seats, the shift **** and the steering wheel. At least that's the leather description for an 06 Coupe.

It's....
cheap japanesse car leather which is noticably different than real leather.

its a cheaper grade leather, if you take the shift cover off you can see the underside

see that's what i thought, because of when i had mine off to do the short shifter. maybe the underside of pleather looks like leather too?

It's so cheap, I can improve it by stitching fake LV bag material into it to make it more classy.

pretty much describes the 03-06 interior.

A tip... push on it... if you see it bunches up in the creases, wrinkling... it's leather. It's leatherette/vinyl/whatever you want to call it if it just indents w/o any creasing/wrinkling.
