I also live in Washington and I just installed me 5/16 w/ iso thermal. Most gains is the 1/2 inch but you cant keep your engine cover but w/ the 5/16 you can. Gains are barely noticable between the two i hear.

go to motordyne and read.. if it snows at all you def. want the copper iso thermal.. thats what i got.. take ur time puttin it on . you will love the diff..
5/16 spacer is you want to keep your top. i felt the same way..

Hey its better to spend a little bit more money and to feel safe about what you are putting on your $40000 car...... so go with the copper iso thermal 5/16 spacer..

well good luck

^^if you really really dont wanna spend the extra money for the copper (which i highly suggest you do) then since you say it only snows once or twice a year then you can just not drive the g on those days or something..lol

Could someone explain what the copper vs iso thermal would do in the snow? And what is the point of the coolant shutoff valve that comes with the spacer/isothermal package? Thanks.
