RANT : Screw went into my tire!
at first i heard a wierd sound like something poped but i thought it was a rock or something that i ran over. That noise got weird and i could feel that theres something stuck. i got out to check and it was really dark out so i took out my cell phone for light and checked my front driver tire and saw a screw stuck in there ... on top of that i have the oem 19's which i can hear everything from the outside roads.
Anyone also experience this?

**** happens all the time. Take it to a tire shop and have it fixed, just hope its not too close to the sidewall.
FWIW, we see 40-50 flat repairs a week at my work.

This same thing happened to me a week after I got my car. It stuck right at the corner of the side wall and tread. i just plugged it and its been fine. I didn't know about the pressure gauge alam until the Dumb A$$ at Jiffy lube under inflated my tires and as I drive up the street this noise goes off and this light comes on. I came to the conclusion that it was my tires by the strange light on my dash. I put some air in all my tires and it went off.

Happened to me about 2 weeks ago. I just took the tire off, threw it in my truck and brought it to a place to plug it.
I'd have done it myself, but never having done a plug before.... I was a little tentative about practicing my first try on a tire as expensive as ours. It looks easy as hell to do, after watching the guy do it and asking a few questions about the how-to of plugging a tire.
Mine was also really close to the sidewall but it was still able to be plugged because it was not on the sidewall itself. Bring it to a local service station or other place that does plugs and you should be able to fix it for under 10 or 15 bucks.... but in the meantime, don't drive on the tire. The more you drive on it, the more damage you do as the hole can tear and get larger around the lodged nail/screw and become unfixable.

oops i drove on mine for like 2 weeks or so because i didnt know i had a nail until a week or so.....then i took it to the dealership because i wasnt sure if my warranty covered it or not....and $26 later here i am
UPDATE:
Well i took it to the dealership and they checked it out. When they lifted it the nail was missing or prolly came off. They sprayed some stuff on it to see if bubbles come out i guess to check it its leaking... but it was barley leaking its very small you need to be like upclose and know where it is. the prints of the nail is still there. The tire press sure at 34 so no leakage...happened yesterday at 830ish...
The dealer said they dont plug it no more becuase of saftey issues, basically they dont want to get sued it something happens, told me to take it to some place to get it done.
The guy that worked on my car told me to wait to see if the tire pressure drops, if it does then get it fixed. they told me the TIRE ITSELF is 278 or something for front.

I had the misfortune to pick up a nail on the sidewall area. It could not be fixed, and since I had clocked over 28,000 miles on my Pilot Sports, I decided to replace all four tires.
After about three weeks, when the temps dropped a little I noticed my Tire Pressure sensor went off. After checking the tires, they were below 30 lbs.
I adjusted them to 35 lbs, and the warning indicator reset and stayed off.
Sometimes if one tire is lower/higher then the rest, It will set off the TPS.
