we have lots of homes being built where im at so theres tons of screws n nails on the road. got my tire flat about month ago, took it to a guy we know and fixes flats. charged me 5bucks lol i said cool! boom! done!

 

It seems like the G's tires don't do too well with nails/screws. Is there something about sports tires? Are they thinner than usual tires? I dunno...

 

Hahaha..same here..happened to me a while back...freakin' screw was like 6 inches long!!! It got stuck on the sidewall too, so I had to buy a brand new tire...only had about 9K miles on the old tire.

 

Yep, happened to me too. It went in about 1/8 of an inch. So, I basically pulled it out with my fingers (wasn't hard) and all was fine. Luckily, it was a screw and not a nail.

 

Called up discount tire to see thier input on this and told me to bring it by. The guy told me to let him take a look at it and he might just do it for free ONLY if i buy tires from him next time around, i said sure my parents already have an account there.

Hopefully i will go there tom, just want to see if my tire pressure drops or not.

To the people who bought a new tire...man those tires are expensive, how much did yall pay??

I think I paid almost 3 bills from tirerack. Yeah...pretty expensive mishap.
