the color diff is going to happen and is only temporary. All you have to do to remove it is get some wax, goo gone, and a heatgun and some elbow grease and then you will be good to go. Oh yea dont forget a fishing wire to pry the borders off. After you get if off the car you some goo gone to remove any adhesive reisude and was the spot. The color diff will be temporary and go away on its on. Now if you want to keep them, DO NOT USE GLUE...Go to walmart, or some craft/hardware store and buy some 3m double sided tape and reapply to the borders and press fimrly. That should put it back inits place.

I've been thinking about removing mine, too. I was also afraid that there were bolts under the molding. Has anyone actually removed their molding to know for sure? Here are two pictures of my car, one with and one without the side molding (ala Photoshop).





It looks like the side molding makes my car longer and sleeker... although it seems to look cleaner without the molding... Hmm... I dunno... What do you guys think?
