Anyone got them? Do they help? Please give feedback, i'm thinking of getting them, but will only get if they're proven to help...not for looks

IMO they detract fromflowing body lines of the car. If you like the way they look, go for it. You drive it!

forget about it. what are the chances that everyone's door contact is going to match up to the strip to help any? slim to none. it wont protect you from a truck, suv, or another g!

^These side molding work mainly as a visual aspect, and as others have stated they are not very usefull, so it all depends if you like that look or not. I don't have them and don't want them.

at first i thought this was referring to the clear door edge guards which DO help out alot!....

i havnt noticed a coupe without these yet?? maybe b/c i never really looked. do these peel right off? i have a sedan also, i wonder if theres holes underneath it or not? just took a look at my car and think it would look nice and clean w/o em...

I believe these use doubleside tape.

In my opinion, they are really ugly on this car. I considered getting them until I saw some pictures of them on someone elses G.... and the second I saw it, it was obvious I didn't want them on mine for purely aesthetic reasons.

Based on their minute size(thickness as well), I can't imagine these would do much to help prevent most dings, especially since our cars are soo low and a lot of people have big high SUV's.
