Why spend 50K+cost of car when you could have something that runs 10s out of the box for that price, like, oh, i do'nt know, let's say an FFR ^_^

 

Because I built it. EVERY mod was done by ME. It was my hobby. Im not the type of guy to go out and buy something that everyone else can buy.

 

BTW That car does NOTHING for me. Just because it has a large price tag doesnt make it great in my eyes.

 

Because something out of the box wouldn't be as unique. Duh. We mod because it's special, fun, and a work of art...it's beautiful to see our babies turn into our own special creation.

your definition confuses me because FFR just supplies you with the chassis and body frame (and some misc. other parts) - it's up to you to assemble the engine, suspension, tranny, etc.. etc...

If you loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee to customize I would have thought you'd be into kit cars.

Btw, by out of the box I didn't mean they ship it to all assembled, I meant once you've finished building your g35 vs once you build a cobra of equivilent price and time, you've got a car that can maybe run 12 second flat vs 1 that's a low 10sec car easily. 1 that has over ?200,000? units worldwide (granted not with your level of modifications) vs 1 that has under 8,000 units worldwife.

don't get me wrong, i'm not belittiling anybody or anything, I'm just curious when I see somebody spent 10, 20, 30+ in mods they didn't go the total customization route. People say to be unique, it's still a g35. People say to be fast, it still can only run 11/12s in the 1/4. people say to be an auto-x demon, it still isn't that hot compared to other stuff. *shrug*
