Smaller Turbo Kit? Possible???

I am not a turbo expert, but I would like to see a smaller/cheaper turbo set up in the available aftermarket line up. To me, spending $6,000+ for 400hp+ which could blow my motor is not for me. However, I would be interested in $3,000+ for 340hp turbo kit. Obviously, the kit would use smaller turbos, have lower boost limits, be softer on the engine and so on and so forth. I am kind of tired of getting smoked by eco-techs and having VW jettas on my bumper. Is this possible to do? John

Why not just get a stillen? You won't really find a turbo kit for $3k, there is still R&D that has to go into it even if the parts come out to less.

I think one of the main reasons people prefer turbos over superchargers is just that BALLER badass blow off valve. I mean honestly there is nothing that sounds more badass than the blow off of a turbo. Superchargers sound funny in my opinion. Dont get me wrong i love both, but i would much rather have a turbo than a supercharger just because of that blowoff.

I agree though i would like to see a lower HP turbo kit for less money, but i guess everyone would have a turbo charged G then. Which would kind of suck!

I do beleive that just putting a turbo kit on a g without really any other MAJOR mods will give you only get 340 hp at 8 psi. I know for a fact you only get 340 @ 8 psi on the auto G's. G's and Z's are not honda civics so their parts are going to be more expensive and well, they are!
